What I know I need to do is add wheel spacers to stop small frame rub and possibly longer bump stops. I will be trimming the fenders as I want as much articulation out of the suspension as I can get. Would like recommendations on a good locker for the rear for the money.

Should I get longer bump stops for the front?
Can I adjust the 5100s for more flex?

Note: Not my daily driver, mostly for playing in the woods. Want to keep road manners okay as I plan to drive on inter state to wheel in the smoky mountain area in the near future but road manners are not a big concern. My wheeling style is low speed picking tough lines and crawling through. Not really muddling or baja. Although I live in FL so muddy swamps are still part of it anyways. Will probably swap tires out for a MT eventually.

Most off my question is suspension related. I have been reading N0rth’s build and really like it. Would like to know what I would have to do to get the most out of the 8” ORI like he is running and if it would be worth the switch from the 5100

Gears, tires, and a winch. You may want to consider sliders for the type of wheeling your doing. Welcome.

It has 4.56 gears and 315x70x17 Nittos. Will be welding up some bumpers and adding a winch. Sliders i may do later but am doing a frame modification first. I’m going to put in a swivel like the old dodge power wagons
