I took your advice and I figured it out! And it only took a 6-pack!!

    Here is his argument:

You and I are going the same direction and you agree that I agree that we are going the correct direction.
But, you took 2 lefts and I took 2 rights to get here, so I'm more right than you are!

    conference is irrelevant. :rimshot:

I can't blame them for not joining a conference; it never hurt their season, bowl, or rankings. Networks love the fighting Irish TV ratings.

Well played season and congrats to Notre Dame. :hattip: :oldglory:

I don’t know that they were tight, but the defensive play calling sucked ass. You can’t play a soft zone and give mayfield all day to find the receivers sitting in the holes in the zone.

They played more man in the second half and clamped down on the WR, not to mention sent more bliztes. Aside from the missed tackles, I blame the defense in the first half on the play calling.

Well you’re right there too. I do remember yelling why are we in zone coverage? I mean I’m no football expert but do remember saying before the game we gotta take our chances with man coverage and pressure Mayfield. Maybe that’s why they appeared tight to me, play calling putting them in uncomfortable positions. With so much on the line I guess that’d do it to you.

Gotta give them credit though, I saw a few plays where they took Roquan out of the equation. Kept waiting for adjustments to free him up. Just didn’t think It’d take until the 2nd half to get it.

How about Hotrod? Nobody talking about him. After missing the early FG comes back and kick a career long 55 yd to end the 1st half. Glad he got to redeem himself also.

Speaking of him, can a kicker be called for false start? I though surely we’d have a penalty on the game tying kick when he started early.

He has really developed this year with the big kicks. Good to see him get his feeling for everything.

I thought the same thing with misstep before the kick. I figured he would not be able to reset him self in time for the kick. Good to see we have a kicker that can hit the 55 yard ball. Saw a video clip of Kirby telling him that if OU has a return man in the end zone do not kick it. Luckily enough they did not and he was giving a chance.

I guess you turned an orange eye to Clemson players pushing and shoving well after the whistle had blown?

Quite a bit of frustrated, dirty shit on that defensive line and LB group with the paws on the helmets.......the entire game.

I started the 2010, 2014 and 2016 threads. The "fan of the winner" thing started in 2015, I guess, b/c FSU won the NC right before I started the 2014 thread.

EDIT: nevermind... the 2015 thread was started by a TCU fan, apparently. Who knows?

New thread starts AFTER national championship for previous season. Originally the same OP and then we started letting a fan of the winning team start it with their logo so it's the thumbnail for the season
