Looking to replace my leaf springs. I am interested in keeping my truck stock height. What is my best option? Improved weight capacity wouldn't be something I am against.

I think skyjacker makes some stock height leafs too and they have decent reviews. Wheelers may make them too...

Looks like the wheelers ones give about 1.75-2" of lift though

If I were to have the rear lifted around 2 inches how big of a lift would I need in the front to level it out? Will Bilstein 5100's work?

Yeah you could do that, and it would lift it two inches but it would ride rough. I would recommend some Old Man Emu springs and shocks instead, they pair better together and you won't have as teeth rattling a ride. Marie from @HeadStrong Off-Road can get you setup with the right front springs for your truck so it is level and rides nice.

Does anyone know how much lift over stock you will really get from the deaver j59 leaf pack it says 1.5 but I heard people complain about more then 3 inch’s. I just got some shity rancho quick lift coil overs up front will that be to much lift for the reer? looking to get new beefier than stock leaf springs with out a huge lift?

They have worked very well for me and my use. Primarily towing a small I/O boat. Original springs we're flat. I use the rancho quicklift and adjustable struts and adjustable rear shocks in the rear. For my onroad use it makes for a comfy ride and a small lift over stock. A few of us onroad 99% of the time drivers have recommended this setup.

    Good luck.

I am taking a look at those leaf springs now. I could just be technologically lame but I didn't see any information about ride height compared to stock after installation. Do you know anywhere I can find this info?

They are stock lift. You can call them and they were more than willing to tell details over the phone on lift and load capacity. My rear springs were flat so when they were installed the lift from sagged springs to new springs was a 3" inch change in ride height. Typically these trucks came from the factory with a slight rake with the rearend a bit high - looks like you have a cap on your truck so I am guessing your rear springs are flat or inverted and you are slightly nose high. If you have the weight of V6 vs. the 2.7 you need to find some threads with a similar configuration. Again, depends on your use, how much you want to spend and the ride quality you are after.

Here are some links from the site that describe how they have performed for folks.

One last thread with a few pictures in it - note these are doublecabs and we all had the same or similar use (towing, little offroad and ride comfort).

Have you had any good experiences with aftermarket leaf packs? Did you replace with OEM? My truck is 20 years old and still on the original leafs. I have a very noticeable sag.

I'm thinking of those Rancho Quick lift struts as well. How much lift did they give you? 4 or 6 cylinder? I'm thinking of pairing them with a 2" AAL for a little lift all around. What do you think of them?

I achieved about the same amount of lift as Ghiliegreen, but that was on worn original struts - 3.4 liter V6 double cab - Rancho says they level the ride or increase height by about 1.75 inches if comparing to non-sagged components. Again, for my use they work well since I can adjust the dampening, though I tend to keep everything on the soft side during normal street driving and when towing I crank them up to provide more resistance.

What are you running in the rear?
