Craigslist is funny. Here's an exchange with an a**clown that didn't know how console vaults work, (start from bottom). Glad I could educate him/her.:

For every buyer, there is a seller. If you thought the price was too high, you could have countered with what you wanted to pay; that’s called “negotiating”, and it always happens on Craigslist, where most people try to get something for next to nothing.

    Again, educate yourself.

    Good luck on your sale.

    Hello,
    Thank you for the picture.
Am very interested in something like this since as you well know, the standard glove compartment does not even have a lock.

I did go onto their website and familierized myself with this and other products made by this company.

So I am thinking that for an extra $40 or so, (ebay price) will just get one from them, to include a 3 code combination (vs the key lock).

    Thank you

It’s a pretty easy install; you have to remove the console lid and the two bolts that secure the console to the rest of the truck. Drop the console in, run the two bolts back in, reattach the lid, and you’re done. I can show you, if need be.

    Hello
Do you have any pics of this vault installed in your tacoma?

Does it attach to the floor of the vehicle in anyway such as with bolts?

    Thanx

So... Is it actually attached with bolts to the truck or just to the console? Price seems high... Will you settle for a breakfast taco and some pocket lint? Cheaper options are available on some knock off Chinese sites ( insert shitty web link here) Can meet today! Lint in hand. Lemme know soon.

Loves me some craigslist interactions

None taken! It looks good up close as you can see the flake in the paint but from a distance it just looked like Primer. Besides, my wife is a sucker for red. This is her 3rd vehicle in red. :)

I love those TTs. If it wasn't for the fact that my fat ass is located too high above the ground, I'd have one...

Sorry. You took to long to respond. I've already contacted another seller with a better price, but I can call it off if you'll do a day old donut with the same aforementioned lint. On the donut of course.

To me that conversation reflects worse on you than on him. Not everyone likes to haggle. If they find the list price too high and want to move on, that’s their choice. He had the courtesy to let you know he was moving on, and that’s all one can expect. Someone who haggles the price down and then still doesn’t buy is much worse. As for educating him, you spent just a couple of minutes on it explaining what you are actually selling, so fussing over it is juvenile.
