Went and played in the snow! Sumter SC, already a few inches on the ground by the time I got to town.

BFG KM2s suck in snow by the way... Terrible.

Ended up taking my wife's Subaru and had no issues as expected.20180103_150337.jpg

I lived in Sumter for 11 years, nice town if you'll get out and explore.

When I was military, I never explored. Now that I'm a local, (married into the family), I explore a lot more. It's not bad if you know where to go or what to do.

Small world. I retired in 2004 before they built the new shop. I did tour the new shop right before everyone moved into it.

Decided to get an oil change almost 600 miles early and go full synthetic, since it's been so cold lately. I'm going to the Poconos for the weekend, and it's gonna be hella cold there (even colder than here in the Philly burbs)!

    image.jpg image.jpg

My truck seems to labor a bit when I start it, after it has sat for an extended period of time (12-24 hours or more) in this cold weather.

I love that you can actually stay in the vehicle while they change the oil!

And WMMR actually gets good reception in the service bay!

Did the old one break? Or are you just getting a more durable one?

Where did you put the actual CB radio in your truck?

I mounted it to the side of the center console near the passenger foot well.

You can just replace the cover. Reach in with a bent pick and push the pick into the two holes about halfway down the opening and the socket will pull out the front

I have the Phillips version from critchfield. Just order a bypass. I think I got mine on Amazon. Only a few dollars. It just tricks it into thinking it’s in park
