To further elaborate on this story, one of the victims was my wife's friend. She has shot in her shoulder, hip, and thigh and they wont be removing them, the doc said it would do more damage to do so.
The shooter walked into the coffee shop and shot the barista, she was a black girl, yelled "white power" and fired a few more shots.
At the bar, Toby's, the shooter shot the door bouncer in the chest killing him.
    So tragic

WICHITA FALLS — Police have identified the shooter in a Tuesday night rampage that left four people injured and one dead before the gunman took his own life.
Sgt. Joe Snyder, public information officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department, reported early Wednesday that 22-year-old Ross William Muehlberger was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m. at the United Regional hospital.
At 9:45 p.m., police were investigating shooting incidents at Hastings and Toby's.
The first call came in at 9:25 p.m. from Hastings music and book store at Kemp and Southwest Parkway, where a man reportedly fired a shotgun several times and struck four people - originally reported as five. Their injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
While officers were there, police got a call at Toby's bar on Plaza Parkway a few blocks away about a suspect matching the description at the previous scene. One man was struck by gunfire at the business and was killed, according to police.
A man who was sitting in the front bar of Toby's told a TRN reporter he heard a "pow" and looked over, thinking someone had popped a balloon. He saw instead a man with a gun.
"Boom, boom, boom," he described it.
A man at the door was hit, shot in the chest from about two feet away, the witness said.
The witness ran to the bathroom, hid for about a minute and ran out the back door and over a fence. It started and ended that quickly.
Harmony Langford said she was cleaning a few doors down when she saw people running, and witnesses told her the gunman had been to a business on Southwest Parkway earlier.
Officers saw the suspect leave Toby's and pursued the vehicle into 2000 block of Victory. Police were setting up perimeter when they heard a shot. They went into the house and found the suspect with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital.
Names of the victims were not immediately released.

here is an email I got from my friends mom, her daughter was one of the girls that was shot

I am not sure if anyone has heard what happened here in our quite town last night? Around 9:30 pm a man walked in to the Hastings Record Coffee store and started shooting, he shot 4 girls then left and yelled White Power! One of the girls that was shot was my daughter Leann, she was at the coffee shop having coffee reading a new Charles Swindoll book with a discovery friend and the gunman had walked in with a shot gun and shot 3 African American girls and Leann ( she guessed it was because she was Hispanic). Then he left there and went to a popular night club Toby's and killed the bouncer then left and went to his home and shot himself. The bouncer and the gunman were the only two that died. One girl (Mia) was shot in the hand trying to protect herself and they air-vaced her to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the other girl shielded her head and the bullet grazed her head, the other one was shot in her knee and Leann was shot twice, once in the hip and once in the arm. We just left the hospital and they are not going to do surgery, God was really watching over her in a really huge way. Both bullets missed all her major arteries and bones, the bullets will stay in her and someday if she has pain or they don't extract themselves?? then we will have them removed. ?? All I can say is GOD IS SO GOOD TO US!!! I praise God for protecting my daughter, and I am so Thankful she will be ok. I will keep you updated with how she is doing, I just wanted to let you know and ask for prayers for the 4 girls shot, the young man that was the bouncer and the gunman that took his own life, pray for the families involved

It had nothing to do with that, it was a totaly random shooting. A good part of town and random people. he was a dumb fucking Neo natzi

and ALL were innocent. the girl that worked at the coffee shop was my sisters friend, she was like 19. My friend, Leann is like 26 and both are good people. He was on the wrong side of town for anything you are saying...

    I think you are right.

So you are assuming since the people that were shot were African and Latino that they were thugs? That is just as bad as the shooter, grow up dude.

My church's piano player is friends with one of the victim's mother. She said her daughter (Mia) is in surgery. They're worried she may lose her hand.

That's sad to hear for all of the victims. I pray that your friends and the others surviving the shooting all make a full recovery.

once eveyone saw the gun thet all hit the floor. Mia put her hands up to "sheild" the gun. i guess she is lucky she did so otherwise it may have destroyed her face :(
I was told the gunman fired 8 shots, hit Mia, 2 other black girls, and fired 2 rounds at my friend Leann.

She is doing ok now, they said the bird shot will eventualy work its way out of her skin on its own.

Dumb ass. I work at a Level 1 trauma center and take care of the victims and the perps of this kind of shit all the time. It never ceases to amaze me at how much dumb shit people shoot and get shot over. 4/20, Hitler's birthday, seriously, WTF? At least the shooter did the right thing and is no longer a burden to our society. Sorry to sound so callous but this dumb ass not only took an innocent person but now his own family has to deal with his cowardice and also public humiliation as a result of his actions. I hope it's extra hot where he's at.

yea, he has been in and out of jail many times, recently for agravated assault on his GF, holding a knife to her throat. another time for "vengence" on people that told the cops on him.
His family has tons of money and would just bail him out each time, the most recent one being $100,000. I hope the victims sue this guys family, if it wasnt for them he would still be in jail!

just updated on our local news web site

According to Publicdata.com, Muehlberger had been arrested on aggravated robbery charges in January, 2008, pleaded guilty in 89th District Court and was given a two-year probated sentence and ordered to pay a $750 fine. He was charged with aggravated assault in the Oct. 19, 2009 stabbing of two men at Lake Wichita Park. His bonds on those charges totaled $1,100,000 but were reduced to a total of $40,000 under the signature of District Judge Bob Brotherton. Court affidavits indicated he was charged with aggravated assault/family violence Dec. 31, 2009 stemming from an incident where he is alleged to have threatened to kill a girlfriend and struck her. His bond was set at $100,000 and was later reduced to $10,000 under signature of Brotherton. Brotherton said although he signed the paperwork, the order to reduce the bond was actually made by District Judge Barney Fudge. Wichita Falls Police listed Muehlberger on its "Most Wanted" list April 3 for charges of obstruction/retaliation. His bond on that charge was originally set at $250,000 but later reduced to $15,000 by Fudge April 12.

Sorry to hear about any shooting.

I am amazed at how many shootings there are in my town (Salinas) and I grew up in East LA? Plus, rarely is there an arrest. The Police are just understaffed to cover the area and cant be everywhere plus no helicopter.

    Update from Mia's mother:

They were able to save her hand. They've had to do skin grafts to cover the wound and provide substance to her hand. She'll still require rehab and probably plastic surgery.
