The part shackle is made up from a Bell and pin.

 

I've always called the top one a clevis, but that makes sense.

 

Yeah I really need to get new leafs but don’t have the cash right now for them. Been needing them for a while.

Great fun. Just finished power steering fluid change for my third and it turns and sounds great. No more whining. What a pain in my ass though. Flushed entire system this time. Pulled hoses off on bottom and drained. Then pulled the pulley and resevoir off to hose it out with brake clean. Now I can look through the screen.

Looking for a little help! Got some ray 10 16 inch got a 2004 with 2 in lift ( old man emu) wondering if 285/75r16 will be ok to mount ? Or will they be to big ?

 

No more guard on the windshield washer tank. It's what happened to mine. And then I had to trim the splash guard and flair on the rear of fenders. Had I gone with 8 or 9" wide I may not have had ether problem.

 

Could use 1.5" wheel spacers and them do the wheels and trim the heck out of it and beat in the pinch weld.

 

Thanks you guys so maybe a 235/85r16 would be my best bet with out cutting and beating . Any recommendations on the tire size / brand would be awesome i do have a set of 1.5 spacers that I could use. Sorry to be a noob I don’t want to mess on trying to fit a bigger tire on the wip

 

Started the truck for the first time in about a week, couple of nights of hard freeze, and i notice a few drops under the truck. Upon further inspection, i think my rack and pinion is leaking, alot. Hopefully itll be okay for a bit. Wont be able to get to a shop for two-weeks.
Y'all think ill be ok??

 

I'm running 265/75/16 on mine. Only slight rub on my resis for front shocks. That's if I turn all the way hold it and stuff the tire up in the fender all the way

 

I would think so if it's only drips. If it's a big puddle I would worry. Mine just took a little over a quart of fluid after I drained the system. Just keep an eye on it. You'll be fine.

That's what prompted the hooker comment.

 

In the logging world hookers are our hook tenders. They hook chokers on a hook all day as well as set the chokers in most cases. Good ones a hard to find and bad ones usually don't get to ride home with the crew in the crummy at night.
