    I am right in the bulls-eye. Yay me!

    I'll go into work tomorrow but will keep an eye on the weather and probably leave before it gets too nasty. I don't want to be known as the guy who doesn't go to work every time there's a flake on the ground, but I also don't want to be the guy who died in a winter weather accident either.

    We've got more than enough to keep us fine here so I'm hardly worried about a foot of snow. The wife has Thursday and Friday off already and the baby will be fine @ home.

    When I had mine, I had the original ContiExtremeContacts on it (the pre-DWS series). If I had an emergency and my life depended on it, I'd drive that over any other vehicle I've owned (including both Tacomas with snow tires). The shame is the salt was the main reason I sold the car. Even though it had only seen about 6 NE winters (I parked it a few winters when I had the truck(s) and it sat in the garage once I bought the house) it had just enough underneath that I would have been worried long term. I had some bubbling inside the gas door that never fully went away even after being taken care of and when the light reflected correctly I was 99% sure I could see just the tiniest (legit smaller than a pen point) something starting under the paint which make me think it was a matter of time.

    I do still get the urge to buy an old bugeye and put a Forester suspension on it.
