    THey are actually good because you take it to the mountain when you snowboard and can pack your buddies and boards in it and head to the top or back country. THis snowboard shop in CO has one they take out.

    Haha. Makes sense. I think it's just hilarious because my family had an ugly van like this when i was like 6 or 7. I remember the driver's seat being right on top of the engine, I would sit on top of it when I was cold. Probably a nice "feature" for after snowboarding too. :p

    I would say it's because nothing rusts in New Mexico but mine spent it's first 7 years in North Carolina.
