What exactly does "Missfire margin %" mean?

Edit: After looking at the data more closely, I'd assume it means that the closer you are to zero, the more likely a missfire is (actual missfires correspond). So this is due to incorrect A/F under load?

Also, although the all cylinders missfire count graph looks bad, the vertical axis maxes out at 3. Is there a multiplier? Is this per unit time?

I'm not trashing your data, I just want to understand what I'm seeing.

When a misfire occurs the counter holds that misfire for a total of 100 revolutions

I think I know what you are talking about. If you lean on the throttle some but don't downshift, you are talking about the hesitation it will do? On the stock map you can't really feel it of you lug the engine some. On the tune, it will kind of jerk the truck. Is that it? The 87 tune did not mesh well with my truck. It would literally backfire.

I spent all morning today on the dyno working on refining ignition further.
I have found the issues associated with adjusting ignition timing

I was able to fix the problem and can now get the truck to give me smoother and higher targets than the 2018 camry :)

Hopefully resolving this issue will allow changes to 04B10 ECU ignition timing table without the dreaded limp mode!:fingerscrossed:

need to put more miles on the R&D truck first, but I believe this is the solution for everything. ignition issues, detonation, stuttering, misfires,

Make sure to turn off all antivirus software, including Windows Defender. They all see pcmflash as a virus and will quarantine and/or delete it.

No not at all. The stock tune has shitty throttle maps. Thats separate then the misfires on the OV tune. What Im saying is that since the Ov tune is misfiring its pulling back timing and throttle to protect the engine so the values seen in those screen shots are probably not accurate compared to when the OV tune doesnt misfire. When it doesnt miss I would expect input throttle to output throttle to be closer to 1:1.

I have to disagree there, throttle response is still the biggest issue I have with this truck and while it has improved I still think the tune has a long way to go in that department. Personally I would say:

Pre-tune throttle response - pathetic and downright dangerous

    Post-tune throttle response: poor

How about, post tune - better

I def agree there are still improvements to be made

Definitely better, I don't mean to discredit OV for the work they have done, there have definitely been noticable improvements and I'm sure it has taken a serious amount of work and experience to even get this far. It was just so awful from the factory that even with the improvements it is still a long way off from what I would call good.

For now I'm trying to stay optimistic that we will get there eventually, but if this were to be the final product and I had the chance to do it all over again I'm not sure I could say I would do it, I would probably just save some cash and get a pedal commander, and if we don't get further improvement I might end up getting one anyway. The overall smoothness in power delivery has definitely gotten better with the various tunes and I bought this truck knowing it was going to be underpowered so I'm ok with the overall output. My biggest gripe with this truck has always been the throttle response, I just want it to react when I ask it to, especially blips of the throttle between gear changes, and so far I don't feel like this has made it $700+ more responsive.

    @OVTune , when you get a 04B10 file sorted, I'll give it a try.
Stutters under part throttle are getting annoying lol
