Truck got violated (work truck), almost didn't make it home.

 

How was that drive? Brakes stuff sounds sketchy

 

This is what happens when you don’t properly inspect and check off your DVIR.

 

A good steady rain taking place here in the Bay Area. Thats gotta mean snow in the Sierras. Need more of this kind of action.

 

I was in Laporte yesterday and it was 72 where I was. I don't think there going to be much for a few more weeks.

 

I think this storm is moving more northbound. Not good orographics for Sierra snow

 

Breaks never a problem.
A drop of diesel fuel fell on his inspection floor. Bad seal going out.

Motor leaks oil all over the place, hard to tell if anything else leaks other than air on this truck. Chinese guy owns it.

Yeah I'm not fond of the North bound storms. I will say this though, the snow that was there sure left quick. It's been a humid S.O.B.

 

41* in Chester/Almanor. Just rain, disappointing winter thus far.

 

Some snow >4" forecasted for Tuesday Wednesday but warmer temps than the last month so may only be up at elevation >5k.

Felt bed shake .... thought it was just a big ass fart

 

Quick shake down here in Santa Cruz but I was up for some reason when it happened so I actually noticed it. Woke the wife though. Must been pretty good for you guys closer to Berkeley.

 

They say animals can sense that shit. My dog woke me up probably 4 or 5 times since midnight just getting up and walking around our room. Completely out of character for him.

 

Felt it in Hayward, about half an hour from Berkeley. Twitter is going rogue over it.

 

Didn't feel a thing here in Oakland.

 

Only felt a shaker one time in my life. I couldn't imagine how you guys do it down there.
According to usgs there was a 2.7 near my place yesterday. However the obviously don't realize that there is a rock quarry there and it blows rock up every Wednesday at 11:30. Only do that so at lunch there's nobody around.

 

2.7 is cute.

I didn’t feel this one. Too far away. Similar to the Napa quake but that one shook me good.
