If you give up on the snorkel, you can just fill that hole with a custom @mesojdm "ultimate side marker". Brightest LED side marker on on the market.

Oh man! It's looking good. How's that attached to the A pillar? The fit on the fender is way better than what I expected.

You got a better solution... I'm all ears. Besides the bottom, the conture is very close. I'm thinking a heat gun to help it that last bit. But overall It's not bad. I will put a piece of black rubber or foam sandwiched between the fender and snorkel.

I don’t know, buy a snorkel that’s made for that truck. It just looks like a poorly fitting ARB

Well unfortunetly there's only 1 option on the market. And IMO this looks better even if it's for a different vehicle

How about something like this... the Hilux looks like it may have very similar lines... 937-thickbox_default.jpg

That looks good. The other thing not so much. Can't you 3d print something?

That was my second option. The snorkel shown is make by TJM for the hilux. I'd have to order it from AU, and it's a $450 gamble on fitment.. and I suck at gambling.
Oh and another thing I didn't want that style snorkel head. My buddy has one and gets caught on stuff all the time. I like the "side ram air" that curves inward

Worst case, I can always buy an ARB to cover the hole:bananadead:

Ok , here's an idea for a design- how about making a removable snorkel that fits with a bayonet style mount on the fender, that way one can have a street look and then off-road tool for which it was designed? The fender flange could have a removable screen built into it, or downward facing louvers to keep stuff out of the hole when the snorkel isn't in use.

The snorkel is a FUNCTION>FORM item.
No matter what, they will all look ugly. The key is to find the one that looks the least ugliest:rolleyes:

They don't have to look so ugly to be functional -

In addition to pink flamingo, I wonder if they come in rainbow unicorn horn style, too?
