    Jeez - "full serve".

When I was a kid (teen) back in Oregon, "full serve" included checking the oil, checking tire pressure, and washing the windows.

When I first went to Jersey I got out and started pumping. This guys comes over and asked me what are you doing. I was like pumping gas why, he's like you can do that. I'm like why not I paid with my card. I had no idea that you couldn't pump your own gas.

Wow! You’ve must got some time on your hands.(I heard they require constant attention)I’d love to have one but 1) the life of a sailor, I’m just never home and 2) even if I had a land job those dogs require a ton of work. From what I’ve read and researched, if you don’t work em, they will eat your house down to the foundation

I keep flirting with the idea of getting back into the trades. I miss not having a dog....and somewhat of a normal life

My life does pretty much revolve around the dogs. I switched to graveyard shift so I could have weekends off for dog training/sports.
It helps that I live 1.4 miles from work, and can go home on my lunch break to let them out for a few.
Off switches can be trained, but they do need an outlet for sure. Mental stimulation does more for them than physical.
They're not a breed you can leave in the back yard to fend for themselves. 1) a fence is just a suggestion, no matter how tall 2) you will find your landscaping (and possibly your siding) redone for you. LOL

I don't think I could live without at least one dog. I don't even remember what it is like having just one dog. LOL
