Another couch, another recliner, another TV for the garage, another set of Bilstein 5100s, another AR, ya know...because dog.

 

Trust me I know it's my only option; I have her asking my daily about getting one. I keep pushing it off since we're gone more weekends than we're home; that it just doesn't seem logical to have one, for the time being.

 

I want a dog, but I work 12 hour shifts. I dont want to have to go home for lunch to walk it. But it would help me get the girlfriend or stop being lazy.. choices

I used to go home for lunch everyday and walk the dog. It's a nice break.

 

I mean I go out for lunch.. but I dont want to have to go home.

 

Lol are you sure you're not my gf in disguise?? I've had both of those arguements used against me and I know they're right. I know I'm fighting an uphill battle and losing at it but, it's something that idk if it's worth throwing into the mix at the moment. It's never been a question of if , more so when.

 

I will say I have two dogs and one CAN NOT TRAVEL I repeat CAN NOT TRAVEL!

It totally sucks.. we went from two labs that loved to go everywhere with us. NOW Ugggg! We have tried any/everything but he just throws up and poops!

Could get a dog walker. We use one for Tony that's $15 a walk. Seems like a lot, but think about how many days a month you actually work, then how many days you won't want to go home. It's not too bad.

 

My Heeler loves to travel. I bring him everywhere. Took him cross country at 3months old. He’s great off leash at camp unless there’s distractions he can hear but not see, overall very good at sticking by us. And he knows the RTT is bed. Tries to climb the ladder on his own when it gets late..

Love the tread mounts on the side of the cap. I have been wanting to do something like that myself with some aluminum track or something. How many have you stacked so far? Any issues with harsh bumps with them mounted?

 

I have two TREDs mounted driver and two mounted passenger. The way I mounted them they don’t budge. I originally have a set of olive TREDs than picked up a black set. Wasn’t sure at first but outside black looks really slick. Got everything powder coated and for theft deterant I used spline lugs as the nuts that hold the TREDs on..

 

I thought about mounting my boards like that, how's wind noise and drag with them there?

 

Not really sure. It’d be more relevant without the rest of the stuff mounted on the truck. I’m not big into looking for changes like mpgs or wind noise.. I’d rather have the function of something mounted outside the truck and wind noise than be quiet and stock truck. The truck is an overall pig with everything on it, in it, and camp gear. You’ll realize tho unless your super particular bout wind noise and drag after a week the noise and drag levels are the new norm for the truck.
