Work got canceled
It’s going to be a tough day on the couch.

Good morning everyone. Hope Happy Friday eve.

What's everyone doing as far as work? Looks like @johnnym is off the hook, and @tacobell007 is working. I'm still waiting for my job to make a decision. Won't make one until 7. Probably staying home and working.

I am at work now. My building is closed but if something happens close by I can help out

 

It doesn’t happen often. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times they have canceled work due to weather in the past 12 years.

 

Got to work at 5.
Back roads a bit greasy, but had it in 2WD.
Going home will be another story as it's cranking up now.

 

Probably getting called-in in the afternoon, when everyone else calls out (I work in retail, and I most likely just won't pick up the phone, because I don't care!).

 

Working from my couch at least a few hours. Might use some vacation time

 

Been here since 5 and will probably leave around 9 tonight just to be back tomorrow morning at 5 again yay

Getting ready for work now. Most likely I'll be there ALL day (not even a lunch break) because my coworker was flying out this morning to go to Florida

 

We'll keep you company.

 

Got an email late yesterday saying that we'll only be officially closed if it's a state of emergency otherwise use a vacation day. I don't have enough days to be able to use them like that, so at the office I sit with nothing to do. We had to do inventory in 2 days and did and the boss still won't let us skip

 

TW is a very deep and dark hole to travel into.

I called our emergency number and said business as usual. I was like, WTF??!! A second after I got the text that said they are open but will re-evaluate at 8, to use your judgement, work from home or use PTO. texted my co-worker, he's not much into driving in the snow, so he said no way he was going in, he'll work from home. I'm doing the same then!
