Aint no realistic Bama fan taking a Kirby coached UGA lightly.

 

I posted it. I have no video, and quite honestly, I have no ambition of finding it. I can tell you, while I didn't yell at the tv about it, it was happening enough to make me question why the refs were letting it happen, from either side. More times than not, it was an Alabama player getting pushed down late. As a matter of fact, I specifically remember saying to the wife that this game was much "chippier" than I'd expected from Clemson.

To be completely fair, Tony Brown from Alabama was acting like a deuche canoe the entire game really, with his trash talking antics and sideline bullshit... of which I have no tolerance for. But, he didn't push and shove well after the play.

Maybe they were just "letting them play", but that goes both ways.

I fully expected Bama to get beat, if not trounced. No way did I expect that type of outcome or game from either side.

I like our chances... but I like UGA's chances, too.

I just hope they wear the black jerseys.

I always like our chances with Saban as coach, but I was FAR from convinced we would win the game before hand. I was fairly convinced by halftime given the way our defense was playing, but even then I thought we should have had more points on the board.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched these clips. Can’t get enough of them.

 

I'm surprised Tony Brown didn't get an unsportsmanlike conduct flag during the game.

 

He's really a loose cannon.

 

So UCF is pullin an Alabama and claiming a National championship. Including paying their coaches their NC bonuses and hanging banners.

 

They had some spokesmen saying that we were playing for a consulation prize Monday night.

I kid I kid. I do find it funny and somewhat gratifying that people give Bama crap about their national championships regardless of the fact that Bama dominates all teams in the category no matter what you count championship wise.

 

lol they give them crap because "we gots some trophies but we wanna claim some fakes too" makes no sense, then they give crap to teams like UCF/Auburn/USC/etc that have claimed ones before that they didn't "win" and it's like....hypocritical much?

 

We've already had this conversation a few pages back. Some of them have been bestowed upon Alabama.....Some of them they shouldn't claim...Some situations they should.


It is what it is. If that is all you have against Alabama, considering your team wasn't even either in contention or even formed yet, you're basically arguing someone else's argument.

Like I said, already had this conversation. You're the one who keeps arguing someone else's argument, that of the team(s) who also feel they should have a natty in those years.

I'm not sure of they system at the time, for crowning champions. I dont really care. As a fan, I know I dont go around bragging about 16 nattys.
