    I checked out the frame. Looks pretty good. It’s a Florida truck, one owner, don’t think it ever left the state!
    Will likely have dealer check it to make sure.

    2009 tacoma access cab 4x4
    I have a 2009 4 cylinder with 177,000. I just bought a new 2017 4 cylinder, and honestly the engines feel very similar. The new 4 cylinder feels different due to the dual Variable valve timing, but other than that the engine operates the same!

    about to make a 2,000 mile drive to denver at the end of the month in my '10 with 128,000 towing a uhaul 5x8 covered. Recent Mobile1 in diffs and xfer, about to replace plugs and belt, new tires next week and will get alignment... any other suggestions before the trip? Probably will change over to some MT90 for the transmission as well. Front wheel bearings were replaced last spring.

    2010 with 83,...
    Been pretty great- new leaf packs in, and frame treatment soon to come. Both free thanks to tsb's. Live in heavy salt use region so it wasn't a surprise.

    Pretty sure the bottom end is exactly the same with only the difference in fuel delivery, computer control, and head design..

    Toyota service bulletins. You can call toyota, give them your vin and see if you qualify for anything. One of my leafs broke and an independent mechanic suggested i call about it. Toyota ended up replacing both leaf packs (with extra leaf per side) for free.
    Got a letter in the mail about the frame. Toyota inspects it, then either says new frame or frame treatment depending on the shape it's in. 15 might be too new for this one, but it can't hurt to ask.

    Just rolled 24K on my regular cab ‘13. It’s an automatic transmission 4WD. My 16 year old daughter drives it “most” of the time.
