What affordable suspension modification to make after adding weight?

I've added the items below to my DCSB TRD OR with tow package.

Permanent loads:
SnugTop SuperSport: ..........~200 lbs
Decked Storage System:.......~200 lbs
Tools & Some Camping Gear:.~100 lbs
Prinsu racks:..........................~45 lbs
Sub Total.............................~545 lbs

Expedition loads: _
Hobie Pro Angler 14.............~144.5 lbs (Rigged)
Other Camping Gear.............~150 lbs
Sky Camp RTT.....................~165 lbs (On my wish list. I'm not sure if I'll carry it along with the Hobie or even if that's possible.)

Toyota seems to list 1,280 lbs as the pay load for the 2015 4x4 Double Cab Auto.

My truck was hitting the bump stops on dips and speed bumps only after adding the Decked system. It didn't seem to take much to impact the suspension characteristics of the Taco.

What is most cost effective modification I can make so that I feel comfortable with my truck on fire roads again? Or put another way, what do I need to do to get my truck back to its stock capabilities?

 

I would order custom Deaver springs. You can give them the information above and they will make you a set that will handle the weight without lifting the rig.

Suppose you could have springs built for the 'fixed' load, then use bags or overloads to handle the Expo gear, assuming that comes in and out every time.

If it were mine, I'd go once and done. Less maintenance.

 

By "once and done" are you implying to lift at the same time? Or springs to handle the full load?

 

that weight is similar to my camping gear and I'm using OME Dakar EL096R springs. This will lift the rear about 2" or so but with that much constant weight you may want to end up with the rear a little higher and letting it settle
