I need the group's consensus on something. I recently sealed the deal on a black hardshell camper. I was priced $400 to color match it by the guy who does all my paint work. And that's not really an issue. But, the more I look at pictures, the more I kind of like the look of the black topper on a white truck. I know it would look like I was always headed to go get it painted or that I just bought it 3rd party all the time, but at the same time it kind of looks rugged....Am I an idiot?

 

It’s what you like, doesn’t really matter. You build the truck for you bit for others. Keep the black and if you don’t like it paint it.

I think it would look OK, but like @TACORIDER said...it's what you like or want, it's your ride.

 

Anyone have a hook up on kitchen appliances? Or know a "guy"? I asked in the DFW thread also. My built-in microwave died, cooktop is almost dead and need a new dishwasher.....all are at the 20yr mark.

Honestly go to Nebraska furniture mart, cheapest out of everyone. I bought fridge, stove, oven, built in microwave, dishwasher, and mattress the first time I went then washer dryer and couch second go around. You won’t find a better deal than them.

This is kind of what it would look like minus the wood, and plus half a door.

 

I think it would look fine being black. I agree with what others said, run with it black at first and if you dont like it have it painted to match later.

 

Or plaster it with white stickerz to offset the the difference.

 

Not a bad option at all.
