Tires

Hey everyone, ive got the trd pro off road 2017. I've got the 17 tires on so everytime i turn to the left i have the wierd voice that my tires are scratching somehwhere. But whats weird is tha when i turn right the sound doesnt come. Is anyone facing the problem or know a solution?

 

Likely because you have 17 tires on it. You should have 4.

What is 17? The year, the tire size the wheel size. I'm assuming the wheel. What is a voice sound?

 

What is a TRD Pro Off Road? And if it is a regular Off Road it should have come with 16 inch tires. So do you have aftermarket wheels on it?

im meant by the 17 is the tire size, also yes cause ive installed the trd kit from the dealership so they installed the 17 wheels on the truck. The soound is like when you rub ur tires to a plastic something like that

 

Wow you might want to add as much info as you can, as in what kit? What size tire, and what wheel? I gotta unsub because honestly I hate fucking posts like this? People want answers but they don't give you shit for specifics, good luck.

 

TRD Pro Tacoma's also comes with 16 inch wheels and tires

 

Yeah I know the only one that comes with 17's is the Sport. But I have no idea what the hell this guy is talking about, not do I think he does.

 

I think he's given some pretty good info. I'll put them in a list so it's a little more organized...
1) 17 wheels
2) TRD pro off road
3) hears a voice similar to tires rubbing on plastic
4) installed TRD kit from dealership

I mean, what more can you ask for?

The Sport comes with 17 inch wheels and the Off Road and Pro are on the same frame, so, there should be no issue. What are your tire specs? Xxx/xxR17. If the dealer installed all this they should be the ones to fix it.

 

I’ve had this problem before. You first need to know the name of the demon that possessed your truck. That gives you dominion over it. Get back ASAP

If you have an aftermarket air filter, Toyota won’t perform the exorcism, regardless of magnuson-moss.

 

@at17 post some pictures of your truck, tires and lift. So we can get a better idea of what you are talking about
