Only news about gas pumps around here, is a few years ago, we're allowed to use the hold open clips again. Most people probably didn't notice.

You'd have been a lawbreaker. In counties with more than 40,000 people, it is unlawful for anyone other than a qualified station attendant to pump gas. Apparently they have to ensure you're not filling a plastic Jerry can in the bed of a pickup truck or using your cell phone (while they're on theirs).

My dad used to let me pump gas into the truck when I was little. Does this make me overly qualified in Oregon?

I was behind a guy filling a gas can in his tailgate yesterday. I was on my phone while I waited. We both survived.

We have people vaping at the pumps now, and other people getting bent out of shape about it. I was like "are you serious? Would you rather he have a cigarette?"

You are within your rights to extinguish both with the supplied fire extinguisher at the pump...

I would say neither. Is he so addicted he can't go without for 5 minutes? Probably not likely to ignite fumes but still.

Reminds me of one of our car club events a few years ago. We did a drive through the foothills to a cave park. As we're making our way through a cave the guide shut off the lights to demonstrate the absolute darkness. One of the guys with us couldn't manage 15 minutes without his nicotine hit so he was dragging on an e-cigarette as we're making our way through. Lit up the chamber with blue light. Kinda sad to see him huffing and puffing from exertion while smoking.

If I recall from my trip in 2006, Motorcycles have always had to fill their own tanks in Oregon. :notsure::bikewheelie2:

I guess a storm is now a "bomb cyclone" :pccoffee:

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm system targeted the Northeast on Thursday with snow, ice, bone-chilling winds and a central air pressure similar to that of Superstorm Sandy.

Truck cap , husky liners, deflector shield, ARE truck cap.
That wound appears to be the results of a bot fly larvae.
