Sometime mistakes happen, but I can personally vouch for their awesome customer service. My sliders were damaged in shipment (by the shipper) and Mobtown went out of their way to make it right. During install, I talked with Joe on the phone to make sure I had everything I needed and understood the instructions. Found out that the shipper also lost a part I needed and Joe sent a new one right out to me no issues. He even reached out directly to me to make sure all was well. I can't say I have ever had a vendor reach out call me before to make sure everything was good to go.

They are one of the most active vendors on the forum and have a great reputation.

EDIT: By shipper I mean the freight company.

I'm bias because I went with Mobtown after doing a lot of research. These things are rock solid, took me and a buddy less than 3 hours to bolt on (we weren't trying to set any land speed records), and they've already proved their worth. You can see the scrapes on them where they saved my truck, two other guys have dents in their doors/ rocker panels from the same trail.
The extra gusseting at the back is great too, I've seen guys who've bent the kick-out portion of their sliders.

Hope we can earn your business. Sliders are not rocket science, they all pretty much do the job so just pick what suits you best with regards to style and cost. I can assure you that our customer service is top notch but cannot say that Mobtown is any different, they are a popular company on here and that doesn't come without some serious customer service effort. These are several companies to buy from and I doubt you can really go wrong with any of them.

I have the Mobtown sliders, but the Pelfreybilt front bumper. Both companies are aces as far as I am concerned.

Have to say this honorable post makes me happy I ordered Mobtown sliders and tailgate reinforcement. Still waiting for the sliders but I don't even have the 2018 truck for them yet anyway.

    All the things!
I have BAMF 20° bolt on sliders, and I tend to agree with @Socalduckslayer, all of the available options will most likely serve your needs. I can't argue that Mobtown makes the strongest slider, but very few of us in our $40k trucks will probably use them to that degree. Especially since you're already conceding and making them a 0° step. You're probably best off ordering them based on cost, wait time and aesthetics.

However, I will say that Mobtown is VERY active on this forum, not just in selling their products. I can attest that there customer service is top notch and I'd be very happy to have any of their products.

I'm a huge fan of Pelfreybilt, but I do think that Mobtown is making the best bolt on sliders. Their system wraps completely around the frame, and no drilling is involved.

Its probably too late to mention to Chris (OP), but his location of San Pedro is less than 15 minutes from @Shmellmopwho in Lomita (near Long Beach). Shmellmop Fab builds are great and his low cost includes installation. Worth checking out if you are in the L.A./Long Beach viscinity.

hey man do you have pics of the frame where it attaches to the sliders? all the mounting points have a reference of what it would look like all bolted up?

I think you should have better photos than just "one" photo of your slider on the page. actual images of it mounted onto the vehicle and the mounting points to show detail. I.E the 3rd Gen pilfreybilt slider mounting points. DETAILS!!!!
