Humpback mountain I think it was? They were heading up to go take some photos and he got stuck in the ruts from when someone else got stuck up there recently. They were about 6 miles in. Icy as shit.

Ahhh, just above the quartz mine. Did you see where that fj went off the side of the road? I wouldn't go up there without 4 chains this time of year. That area sees very little sun and it gets icy quick.

 

I didn't even hit the trail until after 10pm, so I may or may not have passed the FJ roll location? It was pretty icy in a few spots though. Never had to put my chains on though, my friend who followed me up had to though. I love my Hankooks.

 

Interested..... I have the CMC, chopped and already have plates. Just would need the 10-20 mins of welding done

 

1 day on the trail. Had to clean out the cabin air filter and intake filter.
