Nah just don’t have tires and wheels for it yet. Been gathering stuff for it for awhile but don’t have the $4500 for tires and double bead locks.
Going to try and find some used tires to run with on its first trip out but that’ll be along while still.

Thank you. It’ll be awesome when it’s done. And the best part is I can say I’ve built it entirely myself with zero help!

Got alittle more done. Got the core support back on and botched it for the steering box to clear since I moved it forward more then your suppose to. Also wanted to see how much room I had for the fans but it looks great actually.

Going to have to take it all back off and pull the engine in a couple days so I can cut the old inner fenders out and start to make new ones.

Still need to research out a good tall set of shock hoops or I’ll build my own.

Side note!!! My frame hieght from the ground is 24 inches as it sits so it’ll be a bit taller with 43” tires. But all in all not to bad for this tall a$$ engine stuffed in there.

    Long story about that.
Long story short. Buddy was drunk and colored his fading decals with a paint marker... and that was the result hahahh

These are the same engines in those stereotypical UPS trucks, right?

Many UPS trucks are made by International so probably not as International makes their own engines.

Most of these engines were in bread trucks or Chevy box trucks.
You see them very common in equipment.

Got the hydroboost and master cylinder together but having issues getting it mounted/aligned in a way I get full pedal travel and stroke without it binding.

Been doing research on coil overs and air shocks and struts. I think I’m starting to lean toward ORI struts for this truck. Little spendy but I think they will be great for this truck. Especially not dealing with swapping out springs to tune them.

Anyone reading this thread have any experience with ORI struts??

@JLee at Bay Area Metal Fab has ORI’s on his SAS’d Taco, IIRC he was very happy with them.

Wonder what their rigs way and what suspension set up they are running.
Hopefully the struts can handle the weight of this 4bt. Need to find out how people like tuning them also.

I wish I had the "skills" to be able to do that. I don't even have the ability to THINK to do something like that, much less ACTUALLY do it...

Chop the front half of his truck off.

Same here - a straight part for part engine swap with a few bolt ons is enough for me right now lol.
