Thanks for your help... I was going off the Nitto Tire site on the 305/65/18 ridge grappler.
    https://www.nittotire.com/light-truck-tires/ridge-grappler-light-truck-tire/

I most likely will go with 17's though I am still researching if they actually make a leveling kit for the TRD Pro to raise it up just a little bit to allow for bigger rims/tires.

Thanks so much.. I went in and commented on his video.. That's a gorgeous truck. After seeing his stock wheels with bigger tires, It made me want to keep mine.

I found a place that is going to do a 2.5” level kit on my TRD Pro. I wanna say I can put 285/75/16 on after that. That is a 33” tire and about 11.5” wide. Do you think that would fit??

You’ll be fine. I have 2.5 level on mine and I’m good. I run 285/75R16 Cooper STT pros.

Ok as mentioned tire size above 5.5 backspacing. The tires and rims came with the truck when I purchased it. They are fuel hostage wheels, would like to move to 17” wheels but the cfo really likes those so I’m stuck for awhile. I recently installed ome lift with 888 springs and a standard Dakar leaf pak. The truck had a leveling kit on it before but I wanted a little more so that’s how the new lift along with light racing uca’s were installed. The tub only happens when I go through a avaerage dip going forward and now rubs when I turn sharp going backwards. Need to loom into the cmc but haven’t crawled under to look at details. I know others have done it but pics of it are little to none found unless I am missing the holy grail of 3rd gen cmc’s thread Lol.

I just read through the BAMF CMC DIY thread. I have a friend with a welder, I'll probably tackle it during a weekend at his house. I'm going with 285/75/16 Pirelli MTs on 16x8 something with zero offset.

No problem. I don't imagine i'll have it done before mid February, however. Work will be keeping me pretty busy until then.

If your only running that size tire and have a lift, you don't have to CMC with 0 offset wheels and 285’s. That’s exactly what I have and I’m clear. No rubbing at all.
