I bought mine because of the hood :) Was time to get my youth back lol The look of this vehicle is well, I just can't stop looking at it. I got the white and it is perfect . Easy to keep clean. In my 70 years this is by far the best vehicle I ever owned . I do wish I still had the 1970 Roadrunner I bought new :( I may be one of the oldest here but I am still here :) and feeling great

I got mine in Inferno, great color, especially in the sun. And I'm not quite up there with you, but almost. My first car was a 66 GTO. Sold it to my brother so I could by my first truck. He still has it.

I vote Inferno OR even tho you don’t have it up here. It’s my favorite, yet I went white OR because I feel it’ll last the test of time the best. In your case I say Quicksand OR. The black fenders just add to the rugged truck look and to me the sport just looks to SUVish, too soft.

If you like looks over function, don't get the black fender flares. They will fade in time be too shiny after cleaning, or you will accidentally hit them with wax and discolor them. I'd also choose the tan or silver as they hide dirt the best. In my experience, colors like maroon, green and blue look bad as they age. The dings, scratches and dents seem to really stand out. Just my 2 cents.

Having said that, I'd drive a hot pink Porsche 356 coupe with black plastic accents covered in wax.

Oh my. It must be a 356 coupe. Nice try though.

That does bring up another option. You could wrap things you want to change if you were stuck with only an unpainted fender option.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    .
IIRC, I have had white, blue, red, mgm and silver in a Toyota pickup.

Red was my favorite color ... but silver and white were super easy to take care of ... have silver now and it's sooo easy to take care of.

All the colors look great if you trim it out ...... Quicksand is a cool color and probably easy to take care of too ... I would probably get a Quicksand next time but it reminds me of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan ... so I will probably go with red or silver next time ... but who really knows when you see a truck trimmed out the way you like it.

Mine is an Inferno OR. But of the choices you list, my first pick would be Quicksand, followed by the blue. My brother has a sand one, and a friend of mine just got a blue Taco. Both look great, just not as great as an Inferno one! o_O

Please don’t flame me for another post lol.

I’m just curious what you guys did to decide on a color, I’m convinced I love them all, whether scoop or black fender flares and all look awesome with black accents.

Did you guys know what you wanted before going to the dealer or did you just wing it when you got there?

Edit: I’ve decided on the color and configuration that best suited me, I’m just curious what made you guys pick what you have now

I always envision on what a color would look like all freshly waxed and buffed, and with aftermarket wheels on them. But I always steer clear of black, had it once and never again. Mine is a 2nd gen but I love the Pyrite Mica.

Omg OP, just tell us what you bought already!! Lol

I was originally going to buy a Barcelona Red OR but right before signing the papers someone realized it was “sold” already and somehow got missed. I decided I liked silver better so that’s what I had them order.

Only regert is not getting JBL

Just out of curiosity, why do you regret not getting JBL? I’d rather have the heated seats over JBL
