Holy shit the ride never ends:frusty:

Another Amazon package getting screwed up, this time it went straight from "arrived at facility" to "delivered" with no "out for delivery" in the meantime and of course, the package is not there.

Back in my Bentley/Lambo days, nothing was easy. Everything was shoehorned into some tight as fawk space that left zero room for tools.. The only benefit, it meant for high flat rate and billable hours.

I am just writing off whatever my Mom sent me this year. she shipped to my old address (3 addresses ago?! wtf mom) but didnt put an apt # on it. It bounced around for a few weeks and apparently they "delivered" it. I dont know where, that complex has 800 units. UPS said, "sorry, ask Amazon if they will refund it"

I fell off the face of the planet for a while with an old crappy job, switching jobs, and now finding balance and time for hobbies again.

I also had a major garage update this past christmas so i need to get my shit updated and take some pics.

I traded the 2008 taco in for a 2016 hoerunner trail premium.

I dont have a clue man. I think the last time i actually hung out with TW peeps was halloween 2016 at a certain gentleman's halloween party.

I did meet some new guys a few weeks ago from Tucson. they swung up and bought almost all the aftermarket parts for my taco off me. (I think the shell and the SPOD are all i still have)

The M57 engine is awesome, it’s just all the emissions trash that they shoved in for the american market that always gets in the way or causes problems. In about a year I’ll tune it, and remove all that trash.
for sure. They wanted to bill like 4.5 hours for it, and I wasn’t paying that if I didn’t have to. Took me a little longer, and I broke a $38 connection on a coolant line, but definitely came out ahead today!

I would have lit a fire under their ass something fierce, just kindly inform them that you've got the ATF on speed dial and they've got a hot potato that's worth a felony on their hands. It tends to make things go to the top of the "give a fuck" pile when you're talking about letter agencies investigating warehouses and shooting dogs vs someone just pissing and moaning about an insurance claim.

Had to do that with a Springfield M1A once, they were dicking me around about delivering it to my FFL (we had drivers who loved to not make a delivery attempt and pass the buck by saying "recipient wasn't there") and I may have trumped up how serious it was just a little bit, but they delivered it fast as shit then.

Anyways the customer service at the 'zon told me their standard "wait 36 hours" deal. :jerkoff:

I'm going to stop using their name in my posts too because screw giving them a free reference link.:luvya:

I will get around to posting it. it needs some TLC since it was blown over in a microburst this past year, but i bet it will go fast anyway.

yep, that's how it goes.. On the early Bentley Continental GT's, there was an issue with the upstream O2 Sensor and most if not all had to be replaced... The fix "required" engine removal and paid 40 hours.. But, with a 500 dollar set of pliers I could do the fix in 15 minutes and still get paid the full 40 hours.. Beating flat rate was the name of the game in those days.
