$2.99 a piece @ the local auto parts store. I can see all 3 lanes & no more blind spot. I want to do the RAV-4 convex mirror mod but for $6 I’ll put my money somewhere else for now.

Is this something you can do yourself? Or a part/kit that @mesojdm sells?

@mesojdm makes and sells them (currently sold out, but check out the first page of the thread below; if allows payment, then in stock). He is working on another batch, I believe.

Easy install once received; all plug and play. Has video link on how-to. Very happy with how mine turned out.

Wife and kid were away so got a few things done...

Had some old locks laying around, so decided to add them to my bed boxes. Had to fabricate some new latches but it turned out alright. No illusions that these would prevent anyone from getting in, plastic covers and all. 20180103_153628.jpg 20180103_153728.jpg
    Added a hitch cover.20180104_151919.jpg
Swapped out the license plate bulbs to LED.20180104_162631.jpg
Picked up a set of tundra cleats from a guy locally for $20.20180104_154028.jpg
Also got some new floor mats, went with Wade Sure Fit ones. Considered weathertech and husky, but went with these specifically because they extend out over the door sill. Very happy with the fit so far. We'll see after I use them a bit.20180104_152821.jpg 20180104_162659.jpg 20180104_152300.jpg

I've also got a bed mat being delivered tomorrow, and a set of door sill decals I've been procrastinating on. Also thinking I might take the side emblems off.

Honestly, I'm thinking gunny1005 can meet or beat some of those prices. I worked with him to get a bed mat. Simple process and great price (I think $85 shipped...might be off by a few bucks).

Just finished my iPhone 7+ docking station. It plugs in through the USB cord. I couldn’t stand the dumb square opening that wasn’t a cup holder, so I found the perfect use for it. I hate stupid generic phone mounts up on the dash, so I made my own.

Took an old Apple docking station I had & built a housing unit around it. Keeps the phone nice & secure & isn’t affected with bumps. Get in your truck, sit your phone on it, start your truck, Bluetooth music plays & it charges at the same time. Park your truck, turn it off, pick up your phone, put in your pocket.

I literally only used the docking station, cardboard & super glue. Then I painted it black to match.

    Is it perfect? No
    Does it work? Yes
Was it cheap? Yes ($0 I had all parts in house)
Could I get it anywhere else? Not that I’ve ever seen
Does the phone rattle & become disconnected? Never
Could someone do it a lot better? Yes
    Would I buy it? Probably
