I used to live and work in Henniker myself. Back in the early 90's.

Maybe this is a good time to introduce myself. I've been lurking and reading the forums for the past month or two. Bought a 08 dbsb back in Nov. Had a few things to repair, but I think I have it all sorted out now.

My Toyota truck was a 1984. Ended up completely rebuilding that. Took me 3 months in the body shop. Took it down to the frame. That was a fun truck. Now I'm enjoying my new to me taco.

Not looking to do many mods. Simple things. I did add a double din radio. Wanted GPS and needed Bluetooth.

I'll have to find out when the post office opens. Should fit in one of those $5 boxes or envelopes.

Nope, it’s an old MTD. When I had to find parts for it last year, MTD was actually really helpful. I was having a hard time identifying which model it was and what part numbers to order and they sorted me out pretty quickly.

I think it helps mine is also a commercial chassis. Stronger gearbox, grease zerks all around etc.. mine an early 90s snapper and it still does awesome. We bought my father in law a pretty nice ariens unit with heated handles, the easy turning limited slip, electric start etc a few years ago and literally every damn season it breaks down. And not one of the ariens from home Depot either.

I’ll be honest, I’m surprised mine is still running. It wasn’t a nice model when it was nice, it’s got that friction disc drive, no grease zerks and it was terribly maintained before I got it.

Just got in from snowblowing. Done snowing just windy as hell. Also changed the wipers on the wife's t4r and my FJ as they were both overdue. Thank God for those facemasks and ski goggles. Snow was blowing all over the damn place.

Goggles and face masks? I just had a hat and my beard! I looked like Denis when I came in, my entire beard was iced up. I just tried to keep the wind at my back as much as I could.

I've got a new plow driver in my neighborhood.
I like his skill compared to the previous one.

Issue with the fj is the window is so vertical the front defrost doesn't hit the lower part where the wipers sit so you get a lot of snow/ ice buildup while driving there.
