    Exactly why I decided to list my PM2, I'm snagging a Mini Crooked river. I have a soft spot for axis locks, and the PM2 is just a little awkward to handle for me.

    Bought another steel will cutjack for one my friends. Wasn't happy with the factory edge so I sharpened it before I give it to him.

    Just a cheapo lanksy at 25 degrees. Went from course 180 grit all the way to the finest one I have that I think is equivalent to about 1500-2000 grit. Then stropped it a few times on a piece of leather I have. Comes out with a polished edge that's plenty sharp.

    I have a 3 stone lansky. I kind of want to try one of those ebay knock off Edge Pros. It's hard to get the lansky to hold on to some of my smaller blades.

    Yes. But the Lansky won’t hold some of my heavier knives solidly. After some conversation with friend of mine, he convinced me this would. I ended up getting the “field” version which is probably the cheapest. So far, so good.

    The Lansky works fine for the lighter weight folders. Just not so well (or I’m doing something really wrong) for heavier stuff.

    I've sharpened my largest kitchen knife with my lanksy but I'm 100% sure the wicked edge would be better for it.

    I don't know if you guys watch Nick Shabazz on YouTube but he swears by the KME sharpening system. Still a bit pricey though.

    I usually use a lansky or work sharp because I'm lazy and it can also handle my scissors, shovels, axes, etc

    I use a wicked edge too. Can't beat it for general use knives. From normal diamond stones to ceramic to strops, it's super easy to use.

    Have some stones for japanese kitchen knives though


    Speaking of, just got back from round 4 in Tokyo. Brought back a kiritsuke to keep my damascus santoku company (santoku top, kiritsuke bottom)

    Not a knife, but decided to start branching out into hatchets. Picked up a Husqvarna hatchet, refinished the handle a little bit, and got it shaving sharp.
