My brother has a 2017 Chevy Colorado and it had a electric problem. 3 days of looking through wiring looms, fuse, relays till finally we figured it out. His entire fuse box blew and it took the Ecu with it. Luckily for him Chevy fixed it but you can imagine the crossed eyes and head aches we had till Chevy told us that. I'm still trying to figure out how he did that

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
If I were changing LCA bushings, the other bushings I would buy are the steering rack bushing kit and the sway bar bushing kit from Energy Suspension. One of those kits is like $25 the other is around $20.

You'll have to make the steering rack loose anyway to make room for the rear alignment bolts to come out and you'll need to make the sway bar loose to give enough room for the rack to make room for the alignment bolts.

Get a multi meter and see what voltage you are getting at the starter. If it is 12 or more it is the starter, less than that and it is the wiring or battery.

It comes out gear snout first, solenoid up. I had to remove tranny dip stick tube, unbolt brake line from frame, and carefully bend brake lines out of way.

Well, yesterday when i was wiring up my pods I loosened the positive battery wiring a little too far and the bolt popped out, because of this a little square washer fell out and apparently I didn’t get it in the right spot.

After running out of options I decided to mess with that just because I didn’t know what else to do. Got it in the right order and boom here we are.

I feel like a moron but I guess I learned some stuff, so that’s good right.............

Well that's one side done, need a person for bleeding but it can wait until I get the other side done tomorrow. Pain in the ass job with the hub having to come off to change the rotor and having to relash the bearings. Basically could do a full wheel bearing swap in the same time as doing brakes.15151175801931943834407.jpg

Same thing happened to my buddy and I with his alternator on his 300zx. Which is a PITA because the alt is wedged near the bottom of the engine.

I kinda miss the ol'kragen auto parts. O'Reilly just doesn't do it for me.

I try to go to NAPA for everything all of their brands are from bigger parts suppliers. Like their Eclipse brake calipers are actually Cardone, the same rebuilder that Toyota and Honda and some domestics use. Their shocks are Monroe, their filters are WIX and Purolator. Plus they carry those brands separate too and have others like Aisin, Denso, and 555

Yeah there isn't much there for me anymore either, I use them to recycle oil because they're the closest auto parts house but they don't typically have anything I'd want on my vehicles.
