    Red wings have gone downhill in the last couple of years. We get a new pair each year for work and we contract through red wing. The workmanship is lacking now and the just barely last a year. I am required to wear steel toe boots if that makes any difference. I bought a pair of timberland steel toe boots and they have held up better than the last pair of red wings. I'd look into Danner also.

    I’ve got two pairs of whites. I love them. They’re not cheap but they each lasted over 5yrs of daily wear before needing a resole. They’re not cheap, but the best boot I’ve ever bought. I worked at airports on the tarmac and also in trenches running duct bank and pouring mud.
