traditionally in the PNW they say I-5. it is a certain way to distinguish those from the PNW and transplants. i always said 'the 5' and i was pegged as one of those Cali folks.

More shit then I ever planned on doing
Took my uncle deer hunting in trinity a few years back. He filled his canteen with “spring water” straight out of the mountain top. Spent the next 3 days with a case of the bad shits.
    Can’t say I didn’t warn him.

Always know the water that you intend to drink. There's ways to make sure that you don't get ill. However one spring I drink from only when I'm sick. It's three hours from home and then a mile and a half hike in. It's been used by the local Indian tribe for ages.
Even though I sound very ignorant most times I do however live very close to the ones that still live their old traditional ways. Haven't had a bad illness since 1994.

Yep growing up in Oregon I loved it when people said “the 5” it let us know who to take way out in the woods and leave them there.

This was 3 setups ago, but we’ve been using them for about 11 years. Definitely changed my business practices in the truck.

My parents have one in their shed. I’ve thought about how I could add it into my gear. But it’s too clunky
