    remember there was hardly any snow that year so there probably was never a snow park. Wasn't that like February or March? Elk calving season they said. Quick google search says elk calves are born May to June though.

    Speaking of, I saw an awesome documentary called Elk in America. If you have prime you can stream it for free.

    I'd imagine Salmon La Sac would be snowmobile only at this time? That's actually why we ended up in Manastash in February 2015. We were headed to Slammin Ma Sack and it was blocked off.
