There are 6 files

3 for 87 Octane

3 for 91 Octane

Each of the 3 has different calibrations regarding the transmission adjustments.

There are 3 different shift settings to select from, and 87 octane tunes to match.
Shift setting 1 - All gears have been adjusted
Shift Setting 2 - Gears 1-4 have been adjusted
Shift Setting 3 - Gears 2-5 have been adjusted
1.02C includes:
throttle map changes for D and ECT mode

 

I may want to flash back to stock file before my service next week. OV never sent me stock tune file, I suspect it may be the file I sent him originally but I wasn't sure if that's the right file or not. If anybody knows, please let me know.

Yes it’s the file you read and sent off.

I’ve had mine in for service and no one has said a thing. But that’s just been oil and tires.

 

Just emailed engine and AT read files. Pissing myself with anticipation. Can’t wait.....

There are two files that I read (engine and transmission) and emailed to OVtune, do I have to write both of them to go back to stock?

 

How about info on 2018 mt support. Are you working on this?

 

When you installed the tune, you should have only wrote on “...P5-CAN-bus”. So, if you want the stock tune back, that’s where you’d write it. The one for the transmission says gearbox. DONT write to that one.

 

So the engine will go back to stock but the transmission will stay OVtuned?

There currently is no transmission tune. Everything is done via the ecu

 

Oh, I see, I wonder why the instructions say to read the gearbox too.

 

The way I understood the instructions is that it’s optional at this point (reading it). There currently is no option to write because we don’t have a tune file for it.

 

lol....Since I read the engine and the transmission, I don't remember which file is the engine since they're both named almost the same, the only different is that one contains 04B02 and the other one 04012, I'm not sure which one is the correct one to go back to stock.

 

You're write, it does say "you can," that verbiage sounds optional.

 

My Stock ECU bin file is 1536 kb while the stock trans bin file is 1280 kb. Don't know if that helps.

 

My stock ECU file is 1.5 MB while my gearbox is 1.3 MB. The one that says 04B02 should be the ECU

 

04012 is the TCU file, 04B02 is the ECU file. Yours are the same version numbers as mine. Back in October when I wrote the files OVTune sent me, he instructed by email to write the "102BB" file he sent FIRST, then the new actual tune file. I don't know how (or if) that applies when going "back" to the original factory tune.
