Me @05tacomabro & @TaylorU at chimney rock a couple years ago. My 1st gen pre runner didn’t struggle at all. As for the loop, no idea. You can get to the rock, do the half mile loop and back, but probably not hit the full loop from chimney back to the road

So I'd definitely like to do chimney rock with you guys, but I'll be camping out in reddington tomorrow night and would rather drive the whole loop saturday so I can camp back with my original group again saturday night. Any ideas when/where should I meet you up there saturday morning?

Well first off you wouldn't need to buy the extra mounting hardware. But, I'm not sure. Off the top of my head, I'd say go longer with the bolts, and double up the nut on the eye end of the bolt with a star washer between the two nuts. That way you could tighten the 1st nut to the plate and use the second nut as a jam nut to make sure it doesn't back off. The problem with the way I did it is that there's no longer a nylock nut included to make sure nothing loosens up, so you'd want to compensate for that somehow. I've never had mine back off, even in the slightest, but I'd want to be sure if it was two of my mounting points. Also, I think I'd do opposite corners, instead of both on the same bar. Like front right and rear left or visa versa.

Did u get an RTT for Christmas? Haha

Shit, that's right. I remember you telling me about that. You deserve a damn celebration for when you pay her off. That's a long ass road you've traveled to reach this point.
