Here’s a recap for the new year if anyone is seeing this thread for the first time and don’t feel like searching 85 pages.

* These are laser cut, machine bent from .063 (16 gauge) 3003 Tread Brite (diamond plate) and .063 5052 smooth finish Aluminum. They’re powder coated carbide texture black for a long lasting durable finish. The carbide texture black is actually a blend that my powder coater and I came up with a while back that contrasts all vehicle colors and interior plastics perfectly. Looks great along side gloss black also.

They attach with strips of

$7 3M VHB 100x200mm~ (4" X8") Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 Sheets 100x200mm)

3M VHB (very high bond) double sided foam tape, same stuff body shops use to mount vehicle emblems and trim. This stuff can be very unforgiving once installed so watch the install vid by Sgt Okinawa on the first post of this thread before installing.

Well I started a conversation so you can keep some things private but if you’re willing to throw your email out there you might as well throw your zip code out there too so I can quote a shipping cost.

 

Ok so I just did some inventory while cleaning up my shop and discovered I have a whole bunch of the original 2nd gen DC version door sill protectors. The difference between this version and the latest 2.0 version is front and rear length. The original version fronts are 20” and the rears are 16” while the latest 2.0 version are 22” fronts and 17” rears. Not much of a difference really.

If anyone’s interested I’m blowing the original version out at 40% off for the set of four!

*Diamond Plate and Non diamond plate powder coated carbide texture black.
