I still need to order my suspension and then hit you up for help installing.... unfortunately headstrong is closed until the 15th.

When's the next Trails trips in GA ?

 

You fellas might be able to help me with this one: I haven't really tried too hard diagnosing this one yet b/c it's so damn cold, but after my lift, whenever I hit a dip or pothole or any kind of angle with my front left side, there's an awful rubbing noise. I've looked while in park and can't see what could be hitting, but it sounds like the tire hitting some plastic, but I can’t see where any contact would occur

Going to try to officially diagnose it tomorrow

 

Maybe brake dust shield mine was doing something similar!!

Really?!? I thought headstrong was reopened on the 3rd?

I’m still debating on what kit to buy so it’s no big rush for me. Def gonna need to link up on a mod day to get everything bolted to once I get it though.

I’m in Newnan so it looks like I’m close to both the north and south crews.

Just took wheel off and bent it back by hand, until no more touching! Make sure there is some clearance in there no more scrubb!

 

They've been changing the date for some reason. Initially it was reopen on the 2nd, then when I checked a day or two ago it was the 15th, now it says the 8th as of 2 minutes ago.

Also, come to the north meet this coming Wednesday.

 

Nice!! Prolly gonna get the ECGS needle bearing bushing to knock everything out at one time. I’ve done front suspension before, but not the rear. I know replacing the bushing is beyond my skill set.

 

Wish I could but I work Monday thru Friday, plus a lot of Saturdays. Got a wife and 16month old at home too so sometimes what little free time I have on the weekends turns out to be not much free time.

I’m with you there. We’ve got 2 week old twins...weekends are filled with feedings and diaper changes.

I’m fairly certain mine is just what he described. If you’ve got enough clearance you can stick your head over the tire and look down in there.
