The values shown on coinmarketcap are volume weighted averages of the prices from all the exchanges in their market tab for a particular coin.

Yep. So the USD price is the volume weighted average of only the BTC/USD pairs. Looks like Bithumb is inflating the price quite a bit since their price is so high and high volume.

Honestly, if I had the coin to but BCC, I'd be buying serious positions in alt coins or BitCoin. That's just me personally.

That's something I honestly haven't looked into- BCC.

I dont disagree that the coins you mentioned are PERCEIVED cheaper, but in reality the price of a whole coin doesnt really matter when you can buy fractions of a coin like you can in crypto. With that being said perception is very powerful, so dont underestimate it.

Yeah but if you buy $15000 of some penny coin, you’ll make a lot more money if it goes up a dollar compared to if you have $15000 in BTC.

He's right. At the end of they day, what we're doing is "trading" other people's perception of value. I could have a million dollars in product, but no one will buy it, then what do I really have?

Also, I could have something "worth" nothing, but everybody wants it- what is it really worth?

Like you, made some small gains trading, and definitely some losses, but it's a lot to babysit and mistakes were made.

I can relate... I bought 200K tron at 26 satoshis. I definitely don't have 200K tron right now and I'm kicking myself for it. Calculating what could have been just makes me want to punch my computer screen. HODL!!!
