You can try RF Chokes. That is one of the differences of name brand bars. They have better RF shielding.

And depending n where your grounds are can make a difference too.

    Powerful though aren't they?

I haven’t even used them really, I lit up my street a couple times but id image in a place that’s really actually dark they’ll be great. They over power my brights for sure.

Sounds like a lot of effort for something so small. It’s not really a big deal, I was mostly just curious.

New shocks (stock), new brakes yesterday: they are all black so no pictures, and it is raining here (big surprise). After all of that talk about bedding in brakes: I read all the links Posted here, I asked the two guys who did the work yesterday and the response was, "Just doing toe a boat over the Pass any time soon, otherwise don't worry too much about it." My feeling is that that advice might be fine; it is even finer now that I read all those articles on the issue and understand what is going on. The first few hundred miles I will pay attention to how I am heating them up and how I cool them down, etc. In noticing and trying to heat them up in cycles it's clear that I don't really use my brakes much - at least not in the way that would heat them up a lot.

As I recall, a few minutes after this was taken, there was a comment made to the effect of, "If it clears up, we'll make everyone breakfast." And then 15 minutes later you were headed over to your better half with your tail between you legs asking her to make us all breakfast.

So that morning wasn't all that bad. :luvya::luvya:

Can we see a picture? Are you talking the "Toyota" emblem? (I need a new one too, or I wouldn't ask, my next question - if you say yes- is going to be how do you go about it, and how hard was it?)

No but seriously... I'm going to have the coolant system flushed, literally the day before I start this project. I plan on draining and re-using the coolant that will already be in there.

    Yeah.

Why? Get a bigger spring rate and add less preload and it'll ride better.

Installed some led lights tapped into my turn signals in the corner light.

Also put some G2 1.25 spacers for the front. Gotta do the tears on Monday.

Why not just refill it with water after the coolant system flush?
Then you can just drain the water.

I'm not planning on doing the flush myself. Never done one, don't even want to mess with it, or mess with however I would collect and dispose of the coolant.

No... I'll pass on that one. Probably going to go with yellow. More commonly available and doesn't eat gaskets and leave rusty sludge in the cooling system.
