So what re-entry points are people looking at for the alts (ada, xrp, xlm)? Or are you staying out until the BTC wave run to $23k plays out?

ya HODL and keep your private keys organized, all my mining profit for 6 months went into a wallet which I missplaced the key for. For 2 days I went through everyfile and password I could think of hahahaha I eventually got in and recovered 5.78 ETH

Bought 1105 xrp. Just saw an article that western union is officially going to use ripples tech. Need to read it but that would be huge

Not as bad as you but when i was trying out the QSP wallet the pc decided to do a windows update in the middle of it and restarted. I hadnt saved the private key yet (had it open in a txt file though). Once it restarted i was going to open the txt and recover it....only to accidentally hit the power button on the psu and turn everything off. Forget how much it was exactly (1500?) and the exact price but want to say id gotten it at ~1200?

Was a sad, sad day lol

I am new to this, just wondering what you guys use for your wallets? I don't think this is the right way but I just leave it in binance. And I am @Lux's brother.

I'm HODLin' hard with what I got. Didn't get into crypto currencies early enough to get enough of a return to pull out and I don't have enough invested to see much of a return from BTC even if it goes sky high. Wait and see feels so boring compared to the last few weeks. :bored:

Nothing really wrong with leaving it in an exchange. As for what people use...basically one (or all) of the three

    1) Exchanges (ie binance)
    2) Software/online wallets (MyEtherWallet, Exodus, ect)
    3) Hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S)

All have their advantages and disadvantages

-Exchanges...you dont really "own" anything. But its quick and easy to trade things around
-Software/Online....you have possession of the coins in your wallet and access it via passwords or private keys. Still connects to the internet though and to trade you would have to move it back onto an exchange
-Hardware wallet...you own the coins, but the keys are all stored safely offline

Best advice: HODL and more importantly, DYOR!

Same for me. I’m completely new to crypto, as well as to investing in general, so I’ve been learning all of it from scratch. Made the same mistakes of succumbing to FOMO-FUD at first so I made far more trades than I should have, but I learned from it.
