Been pretty happy with these https://www.salomon.com/us/product/quest-4d-2-gtx.html?article=373259

But my Merrill's have been alive and kicking for years.

2nd for the Salomon's. I've put some serious miles on mine hiking and they are awesome. Super comfortable and have no problem doing long hikes on them.
A little bulky for range wear though if you ask me. They would work fine, I would just prefer something lighter.
I would stick with the danners and just have 2 seperate pairs haha

I’ve had these for a few years and think they have held up and work great:

    Check My Sig.
I just picked up a pair Vasque Beeze III GTX (say that 10 times fast) on the way out to Virginia with my sister. We are driving across and I realized that my Nikes would not do well in the cold weather. Paid more than I was initially wanting to but the guy was super nice and I don’t have a lot of insite to base this purchase off of other than I was looking for something that would do well in a variety of uses. Being a SoCal local, I would use something lighter and more oriented towards hiking and traction and can use for shooting as well than a heavy winter boot. I may have better insight within a few days. They are comfortable being it’s only been a few hours.

No love for red wings? Mine have been great.

On a side note: is shooting allowed in the 4 peaks area?

Holy shit that air filter argument is still going over in 3rd gen. It's going to become an urban legend at this point with all the people getting hysterical while also utterly incapable of reading comprehension.
And then the ghost of Kiichiro Toyoda himself appeared to deny the warranty claim... because the K&N filter was covered in blood!

Anyways I got around to pulling off the little bed edge trim that I had to change to fit the flares on... I'm actually kinda digging the look of just leaving them off.

It's such a minor thing that if I didn't point out that there's supposed to be something between my mudflap and the rear bumper that you'd hardly notice, though.
