I think the fridge in my garage shit the bed... It was the one that was in the kitchen when we bought the house in 2010, but we put it in the garage cause we bought new appliances, and it's always good to have two fridges. It was a bit old looking so who knows how old it is.

Wife went to take something out of the freezer this morning and it wasn't frozen. Not sure if she left the door open by accident when she took something out on Friday or not.

Gotta start looking for "new" used ones, or one from one of those scratch and dent places.

 

So for the last month or so I've been contemplating selling my truck and going in the land cruiser direction. I've got three kids and every time we load into the truck it seems tighter and tighter. Its bittersweet because I absolutely love this truck. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with Land Cruisers?

this is very common, and you would be surprised it really is not about getting you to spend more money as much as it is getting a new car sold and later the re sale of your pre owned vehicle...

common practice for dealerships with cars that are not total crap.... i.e. 2nd gen tacoma, subarus... that is just about it lol

 

I'd do it sooner rather than later. My guess is it'll be just warm enough to freeze everything into a solid block.

 

Well it's nice but I think I need bigger. Also budget is an issue I'd be looking at a older model somewhere between 1998-2005 I seem to be gravitating to the 100 series more for the creature comforts though even though i know the 80 series has solid axles....

 

Is the refrigerator side cold? If so, who cares as long as the beer is at the right temp....

 

I'd love a 100 series. 200 are sweet but $$$$$. Love my FJ but could always use more space. I troll MUD daily looking at the 80. & 100 series for sale. 80 would be sweet, but 100 is far more practical. 80s seems to require more maintenance too. 100 series pretty much needs oil, gas and timing belt every 100k and that's pretty much it.

Ahhh, thank you that's the kind of info I've been looking for! I've seen some good deals on some, but really looking a little early yet. I figure some time in March is when I'll really push forward. I just need to learn more about them.

I don’t miss that part about owning a Toyota. Those ads were constant! I still get them every so often asking to buy my 2007 Tacoma.

 

I think my de-icer washer fluid froze...

 

I'm glad I'm not a smoker. Watching a few people at my work looking very miserable right now trying to smoke in windy 9° weather.

I just realized (or I'm blind and couldn't find it) that there is no camping section to this forum....

Looking at options for either a big sleeping bag or just a blanket for chilly summer nights in the RTT. I just got the RTT and I have no camping gear so any suggestions. I'm not trying to brave the ice cold winters so I don't need a sleeping bag that I can sleep outside tonight in....

 

When I think about going camping, I stay at a budget hotel.

Sorry, too easy. I wish I had a good suggestion, but I've actually never been camping. The closest I got was getting a small pop tent when I was in grade school and setting it up in the three season porch and hanging out in the afternoon.
