I passed through there a few times going from allentown with a few friends to wheel at this spot in palmerton by the river.

 

exploring the site and found this...guess I should spend more time looking around.... I'm in Milford..truck is a work in progress....

Well I hope so. I was a long time lurker and figured after reading about all the other knuckle heads on here like me, it was time to expose myself.

What are you guys all running for communications on here? The offroad club I helped develop a few years ago( no longer part of) always used CB. No CB, No Wheeling kinda thing.

 

Internet on here. But wheeling CB. Do you wheel at all?

 

used to go to rausch bi-weekly with my old club not including spur of the moment trips. Had 2 04 LJ's and an 09 Rubicon. Needed a truck and always wanted a tacoma so I sold all of them and here I am. I haven't wheeled the taco too hard because I'm still lacking in the armor department. I always tried to get some of the guys to switch to HAM but I could never get enough people on board to make the jump with me and get my license.

 

tnx for the nice comments...ex KB2OM have a CB in the truck...kind dropped outa the Ham thing when they started talk about dropping the code requirement.....

 

see your snorkle scoop is turned around...see any adverse effect (affects..never know which is which) anyway no air flow issues....I replaced mine with a separator....was concerned running them backwards would create a lo pressure area around the scoop that way..thats how eductors work..(Ex Utility plant / Ultra Pure Water Plant/ Ind waste plant operator//manager)..anyway just curious if you see any difference in performance...

Not a Scenic pic, but I took her through a drive through wash the other day to get the salt off, she's disgusting already again. Thank you Pa for using 5 trillion tons of salt on the highways.. I wish they would use sand like they do up north.

Wow over a thousand posts from guys from PA. Yinz'r making me homesick. I was born and raised in Centre County (Boalsburg) but I moved west fresh out of college (Penn State of course). I presently live in Utah but have also done time in Colorado, Montana and Nevada. I'm basically a westerner now but there are some things I really miss including lightning bugs, whip-poor-wills, flowering dogwoods in the deep woods, and my uncles farm near Cedar Run deep in the Grand Cyn of PA. Oh and Yeungling Lager. My college roommate was from Pottsville and he would bring back his station wagon crammed with cases and we'd have Yeungling parties. This was long before the craze when you could only get it in Pottsville. Does anyone remember Squire Beer in returnable brown pony bottles?
