mine too.. I took the 8 dollars he offered.

 

I guess mine is lost. Having a hard time getting a refund too. He won’t send me one nor is eBay being of much help. Both keep telling me to wait.

 

I also had one of the clips broken on the side. After i snapped the grille in, it felt really firm, even with the broken clip. You should try install it and see. I am sure you will be okay. Main thing the surface is all good with no blemishes, you got off pretty lucky....take the discount because they may require you to send it back for a full refund and you cannot guarantee a replacement will be any better.

 

You will have to wait at least three days if you file a claim with eBay. They will give the seller a chance to respond. I ended up having to wait 7 days because eBay needed to do some more research. But on the 7th day I got my refund.

 

I ordered mine 12/3 as well and have not received it yet. I sent recamera a message last night and they responded today saying my package was on a plane in transit that it was held up in customs.

 

This is what should have come on the truck originally.

 

He said the same thing. He also offered me $15 for all my troubles.

 

Call eBay and ask to speak with a supervisor. They know that certain sellers are scamming people. Once I got a supervisor they immediately resolved my case in my favor and processed a refund. I got the run around with the ground level eBay customer service. Best of luck to you but don’t let this go. Get that refund!

 

Got mine from RECAMERA, no broken tabs, 2 piece with screws, only blemishes are ones as shown if you look close enough, nothing a little razor won’t fix. Took about exactly 1 month from time of purchase

 

alright yall my TOYOTA Letters finally arrived from areyourshop..... I have decided to spray paint the grille black to cover some of the blemishes.... which is drying now. I plan on putting one more coat and then adding 2 coats of clear coat. I will post pictures once i have got it done. My only question is has anyone else used gorilla glue on the letters to make sure they hold?? or does the adhesive that comes with the letters seem to hold pretty good??

 

Purchased mine from yan-limn on December 4th and just received it today(Jan. 6th). No broken tabs and it's the two piece. Looks great, a little flash on some of the inner parts of the grill from the mold but no other issues or defects that I can see. Swapped it out in about 30 minutes and it went in perfectly.

 

@devenob did your tracking show it was in the US and out for delivery?

 

I masked off the silver part of the first T and the A, and painted the skirts flat black. As far as the glue holding, I’m planning on using a screwdriver heated with a torch to melt the prongs that poke through the grill to permanently attatch the letters.

Could not have said it better. Thinking of doing the letters, looks great in Inferno.

 

So i removed the clear film and still does same thing, i guess next step is buy that stinkin garnish cover thta comes with new 2018 trd pro grill

 

Put mine on today. Melted the tabs on the back of the letters flat and then used gorilla glue.

 

Yes said arrived in NY customs then NJ then my home town post office, needed a signiture upon deliviery

 

Ordered from same seller, posted a couple days ago to warn people... Received a lanyard from the loser.
