I bought a brand new 2015 MGM Trd Sport DCSB about a month ago, and absolutely love it! I don't know why I waited so long to get one. Just thought I'd drop a line and say hi to everyone and thank you all in advance for all the questions and research I'm going to be doing on here. I think collectively I've spent more time in here at work than doing actual work  Anywho, if you see "COO HWIP" driving around in Norfolk, give me a honk!

I will admit I was stalking your post :anonymous: but I had a purpose! I was trying to find you post with the write about the hidden door unlocking button. When I go run I dont like to carry anything in my pockets so I end up “hiding” the key/fob in and around the truck. Figured if you could do your mod I could leave the keys inside and lock it. See I was a stalker with a purpose

That mod was awesome on my old truck! I’ll probably do it when it warms up again and I want the truck to stay cold. Did you find the thread?

I did but I took some digging! So now that I have your attention let me pick your brain. This could be done with the truck on & locked aswell as off & locked? My question would be you could use the button to unlock it in both situations?

Yes! That’s the beauty of it. You’re essentially taking the lock/unlock button that’s on your door and moving it to the outside. I used it both with my truck running to leave it for a few minutes at a gas station, and also if I would park and go for a run and didn’t want keys with me.

That is exactly what I was after! You see why I was stalking you now!?! Depending on the event, sometimes I am gone 1-4 hours. I dont want to have the worry that someone found my keys & left me having to walk home.

This is perfect for you then! It’s also fun because you can get creative as you want to be with where you put your button.

Your a chatty guy & my stalker skills are kinda lame. It took awhile to figure out I could search your “threads started” and not have to go through 20k of your posts :anonymous:

I will be doing this very very soon! Thanks for the info buddy
