    For camping in chilly weather, what you sleep on makes a huge difference, especially when you’re elevated and have cold air below you also. You’ll want a decent foam base to help maintain separation between you and the cold air below the RTT. If the goal is warmth, you want a sleeping bag rated for the temps you expect to see and the mummy bags are the best (smaller so they retain heat better). Not everyone can sleep in those tighter bags though so it is a matter of personal preference. I’d go sleeping bag but make sure it’s rated cold enough.

    By the way... Ran a bunch of errands today. Wife had a ton of stuff to drop off at a kids place that buys and sells just about anything. Needless to say the cap came in SUPER USEFUL today. And, needless to say, I rubbed it in her face that it was a good thing to have.

    My last truck didn't have a cap through 18 years of ownership, I don't know how I got along without it for so long. I like having usable space in the bed, especially through winter and not worrying about items left overnight.

    Definitely agree. Plus it locks, and I just added the power lock to the tailgate, so it's perfect!
