So I tried to convince a 4Runner guy to get Kings instead of Icon. Was unsuccessful.

Yes sir. I tried but he just had a lot of excuses. The last thing he said was

“These come preadjusted for lift so I don’t have to pay to adjust them all one by one”

Me: “it’s just 2 coilovers”

“No it’s got 4”

I was done after that.

I'd be after some visegrips and an impact. Shoot them things off of there. That's why they make air and 600 foot pound impact with wobble socket.

Looks good. I want to do that and a clear lens to my LS430 but afraid I’ll cook em. These housings are expensive.

Oh I see, its cutting a notch in the shock mount. I was talking about a notch on the top of the shaft to prevent it from turning while loosening the nut.
