It's only like 2/2.5 hours away from us. It'd probably be cheaper just to drive out there. Or it's on the way to Rausch, so I may be able to meet with him on the way home next weekend

 

Ok. I sent him an email about shipping. But if he says no, i will ask about meeting with you next weekend

 

It really is RIGHT on the way, so me meeting him would be easier/cheaper. I would be passing through there around 5:30/6 on saturday evening.

 

What is that Chad? Why is the center black? Did you paint it or is it a cap of some sort?

 

Painted the cap since my F5s don't run any actual center caps

 

@Nimble9 has a spare set of spindles that have been making the rounds so we could weld our spindle gussets.

 

Gotcha. I need to do that to mine as well since my rears show that center pc, and it's fugly not painted.

All of ours were pre-heated and slow cooled.

Either way, you can send out @Nimble9 ’s for welding. Once arrived, then you can install/switch out, then send yours back to Joel.

Just sand, clean, mask and paint. Not bad of a job.

Hot damn that's a good deal. Too bad it can't readily accept a winch.

 

Yea their calling it a winch bumper but obviously it’s not. Idk how hard it would be to have a tray built to hold a winch and remove that hitch.

 

Probably not too bad. Even buying that bumper and paying someone to put in a winch plate, you're probably still ahead money wise.

 

Yea I mean no shipping or wait time and half the cost of new. I just don’t care for their bumpers, one of the uglier 2nd gen options. If I didn’t have a usoffroad bumper I would consider it, but for me this works and holds the winch.
