I second Gemini. It has worked great for me and the fees are very small.

    More Binance observations......

The fixed fees for withdrawal on Binance, combined with crypto volatility, can create some huge swings in the cost to withdraw different coins.

I created an excel spreadsheet (a copy of the text on their withdrawal fee page pastes nicely into excel) and figured out the USD cost for each of the withdrawal fees.

The newly added APPC has a fee of 20APPC, so at $4, you're looking at an $80 withdrawal fee. That's the extreme high end and it's not likely that too many are going to be looking to withdraw APPC but it's worth noting.
Several coins are currently in the $20-$30 range to withdraw.
Most are in the $1-$10 range.
A handful are mere pennies, and NEO is free (but I guess a NEO wallet will only accept whole coins)

There was a spreadsheet shared a while back that used an API from a crypto currency tracking site to extract values.
If I could find where to get the same thing from Binance's API, it would be a simple matter to create a "live" spreadsheet that would keep track of all Binance's withdrawal fees in USD values.

Don't suppose anyone knows how to access the binance API in that manner?

    Edit*--- fake news ;)
Moral of the story I guess is to be careful when withdrawing from Binance and make sure you realize what's going on so you don't lose your shorts.

That is kind of cheesy. I haven't withdrawn anything, I just buy in and usually set a sell limit order for when the price doubles. (not always, it's fun to watch it live and move when I think it's at peak) I have been using ETH as a "safe place", like I sold TRX for ETH and let it hang there until I get around to making another trade. I'm not sure if my method is more or less effective than HODL.

Be careful using eth as a “safe place”. Better to sell it to usdt if you wont be watching it for a period of time. Depending on where the price currently is of course.

Nothing is all that stable. Shoot, even US dollars VS Euros changes constantly. I have some gold and silver buried, that's pretty stable. Ha!

It's also not true.... sorry for the fake news. I saw it on Reddit, but when I went to confirm, I saw that the fee to withdraw ETH was still .01 but the minimum withdrawal was .5 so it must have confused some people.

It IS true however, that the fees vary greatly per coin as it relates to USD and this is made even more confusing as the values fluctuate. That's why I want to create my "live" spreadsheet.

They also have a few coin withdrawals suspended currently. Hopefully these are just growing pains due to an influx of users.

    $80 is still pretty prohibitive.
The $30 fees are hard to swallow for me personally.

This is a tricky game for sure and you gotta pay attention.

Anyone not hodling? I’ve been day trading for about 4 weeks now and already withdrew my initial investment. Im currently sitting at about 950% roi and continuously compounding.

It has become sort of an addiction, being able to trade 24/7 is wearing me out...

My happiest accomplishment this week has been building a cryptofolio that gives me enough peace of mind to no longer obsessively check every ten minutes. I know I am missing out on potential growth opportunities, but like you, I was getting toasted. Feels nice to just check once a day or so and feel comfortable. That peace of mind is my newest asset of value.

My reasoning is that it was trading already at 550k on korean exchanges. Keep an eye and make your decision wisely on when to get out. I got in at 428k
